Einreisebedingungen für Deutschland
In der Tabelle findet ihr aktuelle Einreisebedingungen für Deutschland nach Dänemark und auch was ihr bei der Rückreise beachten müsst. Alles ist Stand heute (5.6.2021) aber auch im Hinblick auf die EU-weiten Änderungen, die am 26.6.2021 in Kraft treten. Bitte meldet Euch, wenn irgendetwas nicht klar ist! Travel restrictions from outside of the EU
Please find below an overview of the current travel restrictions as per June 5th, 2021 for countries that are outside of the EU/Schengen. This applies to UK, USA etc. Whether these restrictions will change is unclear at this point. Please note that Vaccination Passes for outside EU countries are not accepted yet - hence the requirement to self-quarantine and test before boarding the flight (48hours prior to boarding) and testing when in Denmark. Once updates come through, we will post them of course!
So after over 1,5 hours of lessons and a few practise sessions at home, we did ok... also... the ending is a Danish tradition... enjoy! Mit ganzen 1,5 Stunden Tanzunterricht für den Hochzeitstanz und etwas Übung zu Hause, sind wir zufrieden mit unserem kleinen Tanz. Das Ende ist eine dänische Tradition... Viel Spass!
During the ceremony we had a live video which due to internet connectivity was a bit difficult to follow. Here is a slightly edited video. Sadly we had to also reduce the size to make it work on the website. If you want to ever watch it on our TV, you will have to just come and visit! Während der Zeremonie lief unser Live Video. Durch unzureichendes Internet, war es schwierig der Trauung ganz zu folgen. Daher stellen wir hier ein leicht editiertes Video (in reduzierter Grösse bereit. Solltet ihr das Video auf einem grossen Bildschirm schauen wollen, müsst ihr einfach vorbei kommen! Under ceremonien havde vi en live video, som på grund af internetforbindelse var lidt vanskelig at følge. Her er en let redigeret video. Desværre måtte vi også reducere størrelsen for at få det til at fungere på hjemmesiden. Hvis du nogensinde vil se det på vores tv, bliver du bare nødt til at besøge os!
Wir wurden nun schon mehrfach nach dem Dresscode für die Hochzeit gefragt. Daher haben wir uns hier ein paar Gedanken dazu gemacht! We have now been asked several times about the dress code for the wedding. Therefore we have given the topic a bit of thought! Vi er nu blevet spurgt flere gange om dress code til brylluppet. Derfor har vi tænkt lidt over emnet!
English version: The past week has been exciting: we finally met with the venue, had a first lesson in what the Danes call "Brudevals", talked to the musician and had a session with our photographer trying to find a few nice spots to take pictures quickly and easily on the day. Meanwhile we are checking travel updates (who needs what kind of test or info to enter or leave) etc. It does feel like finally things are kicking off and we are starting to really look forward to the wedding and seeing everyone there on the day! German version: In der letzten Woche gab es viel zu tun: wir hatten endlich einen Termin mit dem Restaurant, haben den dänischen "Brudevals" gelernt, haben mit unserem Musiker gesprochen und waren mit unserem Fotografen unterwegs, um tolle Locations für unsere Hochzeitsfotos zu finden. Gleichzeitig checken wir regelmässig Reiseupdates (welche Bestimmungen gibt es für die Ein- und Ausreise...) etc. Wir merken nun so langsam, dass es los geht und freuen uns mehr und mehr auf unsere Hochzeit und Euch all am Tag zu sehen!
English Version: Dear Family & Friends, we hope you and all your loved ones are keeping well in these uncertain times! We are doing well and are adjusting. So of course, the wedding we had started to plan for June 2020 has now been postponed to 2021 - just like Olympics and the European Football Championship! The new date is July 17, 2021! German Version: Liebe Familie & Freunde, wir hoffen, dass es Euch und Euren Liebsten in dieser ungewissen Zeit gut geht! Uns geht es gut und wir passen uns immer wieder den Gegebenheiten an. Als die Krise richtig ausbrach, waren wir mitten in unserer Hochzeitsplanung fuer Juni 2020. Wie die Olympiade und die Fussball EM verlegen wir nun unserer Hochzeit auf 2021. Der neue Termin ist: 17. Juli 2021!
English version: In Denmark you have to register for your planned wedding a maximum of 4 months prior to the actual wedding date - but not later than 2 weeks before. As we are German enough, we registered today. Yes, it is Sunday. We basically had to log in with our regular Danish ID and then fill out a few questions, upload a pic of our passport and sign again with a digital signature. As all was in Danish, it took about 10 minutes for me and 5 minutes for Bertin (I had done the hard part with pre-filling most of the information). The details have now been submitted and now we get to wait as to what follows, but this part was really "nemt" - easy! Deutsche Version: In Dänemark darf man ab 4 Monate vor der Hochzeit, das Aufgebot bestellen. Genau das haben wir heute, an einem normalen Sonntag, gemacht. Wir mussten uns nur mit unseren dänischen ID anmelden, ein paar Fragen beantworten, ein Bild von unserem Pass hochladen und elektronisch unterzeichnen. Ich habe 10 Minuten gebraucht, Bertin dagegen nur 5 Minuten (ich hatte ja auch schon die meisten Fragen für uns beide ausgefüllt). Unsere Infos sind jetzt bei der Kommune und wir erwarten welche Fragen da noch kommen mögen. Dennoch - dieser Teil war wirklich " nemt" - einfach!
English Version: After a few months of wedding planning and not really wanting to deal with the "shoe topic", I have finally given in. I have to admit after lots of googling, I ended up ordering a ton of shoes on Zalando... and then some more shoes in other sizes. It is not the most easy decision between comfort and style and whilst most might not care or ever even see the shoes, I realised that I wanted a nice pair of shoes that I would survive the day and night in. So, whilst I won't tell you which shoe I picked, you can see a few of them in the pic above. Deutsche Version: In den letzten Monaten der Hochzeitsvorbereitung hatte ich nicht wirklich viel Lust, mich mit dem "Schuh-Thema" auseinander zu setzen. Jetzt habe ich allerdings doch aufgegeben und nach einigen Suchen im Internet etliche Schuhe bei Zalando... und dann nochmal in anderen Größen bestellt. Den meisten wird es nicht wichtig sein, welche Schuhe ich trage, und sehen wird man sie wohl auch kaum. Dennoch wollte ich dann doch ein Paar, das schön ist, ich aber auch den Tag und die Nacht drin überlebe. Ich werde Euch nicht verraten welche Schuhe ich ausgewählt habe, aber ein paar Optionen seht ihr oben im Bild.
English version: Yesterday we took to Kageriet near Esbjerg to try wedding cake combinations. We originally thought that the pieces in front of us were tiny and were not really sure if it would be enough to make a decision - let alone be enough for lunch. Well, the great news is: we have picked our wedding cake flavour AND our wedding cake design! And just to add: it was definitely more than enough for lunch and then some! Afterwards we continued on go for a much needed walk on the Vejers beach - the beach Bertin visited 44 years ago in his first trip to Denmark. Deutsche Version: Gestern haben wir uns auf den relativ weiten Weg zu Kageriet, einer Hochzeitstortenbäckerei in der Nähe von Esbjerg, gemacht. Dort haben wir die verschiedenen Geschmacksvarianten probiert. Wir hatten erst etwas gezweifelt, ob wir genug zum probieren haben und ob es genug für uns zum Mittagessen ist. Die gute Nachricht ist, dass es genug zu probieren war. Wir haben eine Variante gewählt und die Torte bestellt. Da wir danach doch pappsatt waren, sind wir dann noch zum Vejers Strand gefahren. An diesem Strand war Bertin vor 44 Jahren das erste Mal in Dänemark.
English version: We are very happy to announce that Jesper Vestergaard from Atmos Foto will be our photographer for the whole day and into the evening as well. He will take a few group photos of family and friends at the wedding, but otherwise he will disappear into the crowd and hopefully take some really great shots! It was definitely a glorious time that we will forever cherish and remember… The center of this newsletter, is an event we were very honoured of hosting. One of our guests, decided to choose Deception Valley Lodge to propose!!! Everyone was so excited to make this an unforgettable and unique day. The groom to be, Bertin, organized everything between us and Lelobu Safaris in a hush, hush manner. His fiancée, Natalie, didn’t expect a thing. The afternoon of the special day, Knowledge took them in a private vehicle, first to see a magnificent lion sighting and then to one of the most beautiful spots overlooking the valley. The spot is called the Wedding Spot, which was the most suitable for this occasion. While the glowing, red, setting sun painted the perfect romantic skies, he went down on his knee. However, this was not your average proposal. Due to the uniqueness of the Bushman culture in the Kalahari, he decided to do it in the traditional way the Bushman proved their love. We provided him with the ̈love bow and arrow, which is a small bag which contains a miniature bow and arrow. He had to shoot her with this tiny bow and arrow, almost like “Cupid”. He then went down on his knee and asked the question in Naru – the bushman language. Our guide and tracker constantly repeated the phrase on drive, so that he won ́t forget it. Natalie must have thought they were just chatting to each another in the local language. And then the moment everyone was waiting for!!! She said YES!!! We wish them the most beautiful journey ahead and want to thank them that they included us in this extraordinary moment. Once they were back at the lodge, not only the staff, but even the animals came to congratulate them, at their romantic dinner. The Lions, Elephants, Porcupines and a personalised congrats from our resident Small-Spotted Genet had turned this perfect day into an African Fairy tale!!
