Aarhus airport is about 30 minutes from town. SAS and Ryanair are the main airlines that fly here for fairly good prices.
Billund airport is near Legoland and has a few more flights going there including airlines such as Lufthansa and British Airways as well as Ryanair and SAS.
Copenhagen airport is Denmarks only proper airport.

Billund is a bit further away and it takes about 75-90 minutes to get to Aarhus from there. A taxi from Billund is around 150€. The shuttle bus costs 21€ (162 kr). https://www.midttrafik.dk/koreplaner/lufthavnsbusser/billund-airport/
If you wish to go to Copenhagen, then you can easily take the train directly from the terminal. The train will take about 3,5 hours and will cost around 50€.
All airports have rental car stations, but please note that parking in Aarhus is not cheap. There are busses and the letbanen that can take you anywhere in town if you need to go far. Normally everything is in walking distance.
You can obviously drive to Aarhus. It is a bit of a distance and please keep in mind that there are checks at the border and there are speed limits in Denmark. Parking as said, can be tricky to find for free, but there is quite some that cost.
There are direct trains from Hamburg to Aarhus - as well as trains from Copenhagen. So if you can get to either, you should be able to get a train here without a problem. The train from Hamburg takes about 4ish hours.
